Although it is likely I will be the only one to read this blog. I will share my thoughts with you (whomever you are.) The intent of this blog is for me to document the decisions over the course of the next few months. I am hoping this will show my personal ethics, foundations, worldview, and approaches related to making decisions. I will be using this blog to help me conjugate my thoughts and decisions for a paper I will be submitting in December.
Today is of course 9/11/2010. It has been 9 years since the terrorist attack occurred. It was quite shocking the morning it took place. I was on my way to class in HBC (Harvey Business Center) at OC (Oklahoma Christian). When I passed through the student center I saw other students watching one of the televisions. I went over and watched as the second plane hit the second tower. It was unbelievable. I will always remember Peter Jennings voice in the background. It is unintelligible in my memory, but the scene is permanently etched in my mind. As the shot was repeated several times. I left and remember being in class not quite sure what to think of it all. The whole country was up in arms, but against whom. Who do we blame for this tragedy. What is the proper response?
Through this tragedy we all saw a nations response to the loss of life in NYC, at the Pentagon, and the United Airlines Flight 93. It was incredible to see what we could do with a common purpose.
I hope that this blog will show you what I believe my proper response is to a series of situations taking place in my life.
